Sakura
It's spring time and the cherry blossoms have come .... and gone!!! The following pictures were taken at the park near my house.
3rd Mar - sakura trees naked since winter
24th Mar - buds have just come out
31st Mar - full bloom of sakura flowers
21st Apr - sakura flowers have dropped and leaves appeared
Hanami - i.e. having a picnic by the sakura trees and viewing the wonders of the flowers that only bloom once a year. These are the people (teachers and students) from my Japanese class. Does the fella next to me look like Jesus Christ?

I like your series of pictures ... they are beautiful. Seems like the weather is a bit chilly from the clothing people wear in the picnic but I bet it's a great time to be out and about. It's also getting warmer here -- still need a light jacket most days.
